If your PNB transaction failed then this post will help you lodge a complaint to get refund.
Automated Teller Machines are electronic devices which enable customers withdraw money with the help of special plastic cards called ATM-cum-Debit cards. Like all other electronic devices, these machines are also not immune from faults.
And many a times, due to electronic or internet fault, ATM does not dispense cash but money gets deducted from the person’s account.
In that scenario, account holders are supposed to contact concerned ATM’s bank to get his refund. One should not delay the complaint because according to RBI guidelines after a certain period of time bank is not liable to refund the amount.
Customers can perform worry-free ATM transactions at Punjab National Bank’s ATM because it (PNB) ensures that all ATM transactions will be processed in real-time and if an ATM transaction failed then it automatically reverts the money back to person’s bank account.
There’re very few chances that PNB ATM does not dispense money. However, if something like that happens then PNB makes sure that deducted amount will be refunded back within 7 working days.
It also claims that for delayed resolution, a compensation of ₹100 per day will be paid if the claim is lodged within 30 days of the date of PNB ATM transaction failed.
