Today I’ll walk you through how to make HDFC credit card payment. It’s very easy to pay your credit card bill online and offline.
There are a number of offline and online ways you can use to pay your HDFC credit card bill. In offline ways, you’ve options such as over the counter payment, cheque, standing instructions, and payment through ATM.
Online HDFC credit card payment ways include internet banking, mobile banking, NEFT, RTGS, digital wallets such as Paytm, bill desk and the like.
HDFC Credit Card Online Payment Modes
As discussed above there are plenty of ways available to pay HDFC credit card bill. Next, you’ll be reading some easy ways to make HDFC credit card online payment. You can pick any payment mode to clear your credit card dues. Using these payment modes, you can clear your bill completely or you can pay your minimum amount due. It’s totally up to you.

Whether you’ve an account in HDFC Bank or not, you can pay your bill.
1. HDFC credit card bill payment using mobile banking
If your bank account belongs to HDFC Bank then you can easily use its mobile banking service to pay your credit card bill. It will only take 2-5 minutes. Let me show you how to pay your HDFC credit card bill using mobile banking.
Not a mobile banking user? Don’t worry. Read this post to activate HDFC mobile banking service online.

Login to your mobile banking account and tap on More.
Thereafter, tap on Credit Card.
Next, tap on Credit Card Payment.

Select Registered HDFC Bank Credit Card and hit Continue button.
On the next page, select an account from which amount should be deducted.
In amount field, your total outstanding bill, according to your last statement, will be shown. You can replace that amount with minimum amount due or you can pay the full amount. It’s totally up to you.
After selecting and verifying the details, tap on Pay Bill.
Finally, hit Confirm button to make payment.
That’s it. You’ve successfully made HDFC credit card payment. Your paid amount will reflect in your credit card statement within 2-3 days.

2. How to pay HDFC credit card bill through internet banking
If you use HDFC internet banking service then you can pay your credit bill online using this service. If you’re not an active user of this service, then you can activate it right from your home. Know how to activate net banking service. Account holders who already are using internet banking service can follow the steps mentioned below to make their credit card payment online.

Get access to your online banking account and from your HDFC net banking homepage select Cards tab.
Thereafter, from the sidebar, click on Credit Cards to open further options.
From the options, click on Transact and then Credit Card Payment.
Select Registered HDFC Credit Card and hit Continue button.

On the next page, you’ll need to select some options and enter amount that you want to pay. So first in from account field select an account from which amount should be deducted.
Next if you’ve multiple credit cards then select a card whose dues you want to clear.
Important: If your credit card number does not appear then you’ll need to link it to your online banking account first. For that purpose, go back to Cards tab and click on Credit Cards then click on Request then Register New Card and enter your card details to link it to your account.
Select radio button next to Last Statement Bal to pay clear your bill completely. Note: You can select second option ‘minimum amount due’ to pay minimum due amount. Similarly, in third field you can enter amount of your choice.
After selecting all options, click on Continue.
Next, click on Confirm to make HDFC credit payment.
That’s it. You’ve successfully paid your HDFC credit card bill. Credit card debits and credits take up to 3 days to get reflected in account statement.
3. Pay HDFC credit card bill using Bill Desk
Customers who do not have bank account in HDFC Bank can still pay their credit card bill online using HDFC Bill Desk service.

Search ‘pay HDFC credit card bill’ on Google. From the search results, click on ‘billdesk.com’ result titled with ‘HDFC Bank Credit Card – BillDesk’.
Once you reach on Bill Desk HDFC credit card payment page, you’ll see a form asking you to enter your credit card details.
Enter your card details, email address and amount you want to pay. Note: You cannot pay more than outstanding bill. If you’ll do so then your payment may be rejected by the bank. Therefore, enter your exact bill amount.
Lastly, select a bank name for payment for example if you’re going to pay your bill using SBI net banking then select State Bank of India. You can select any listed bank.
After filling up the form, click on Pay.
Next, you’ll be redirected to your bank’s internet banking website. Once it happens, login to your respective bank net banking account and then authorize the transaction.
4. Pay credit card bill using Paytm
Customers can also make HDFC credit card payment using digital wallets such as Paytm.

To pay bill using Paytm, open your Paytm app and tap on Credit Card.
Next, enter your credit card number and amount you want to pay. Then click on Proceed.

Again, hit Proceed to Pay and then select a payment method. You can choose BHIM UPI payment, net banking or any other available payment mode.
Next, you’ll be asked to enter your login credentials or UPI PIN to authenticate payment.
5. Through NEFT
Those who do not hold an account in HDFC Bank can use NEFT service to pay their bill online. In whichever bank you hold your account, just login to your internet banking account and follow the steps given below:
- After logging in, go to Fund Transfer section and choose NEFT.
- Next select ‘add a beneficiary‘ and then enter credit card holder name in the beneficiary field, card number in account number field, and in IFSC code field enter IFSC code of the branch who has issued your credit card.
- After successful approval of the beneficiary, go to Fund Transfer section and using NEFT send your bill amount to your credit card.
- Once you make payment, you will receive a confirmation message from your credit card issuer.
Offline Modes to Make HDFC Credit Card Payment
Above were some prominent ways to make HDFC credit card payment online. Now let’s see what are different offline options available to clear your credit card bill.
1. By Visiting HDFC Bank
This is one of the easiest way to clear credit card dues. All you need to do is visit any nearest HDFC Bank branch and fill up bill payment from and pay in cash. Though this method is very easy but not cost effective. Why? For your knowledge, bank charges processing fee (Rs. 100 approximately) when customer pays his bill in cash.
2. Cheque
Customers can clear their dues by cheque. For that purpose, deposit a cheque mentioning your credit card number and other required details in any nearest HDFC Bank branch. Your HDFC credit card bill will be paid within three working days.
3. Standing Instructions
It is a recommended method to pay HDFC credit card bill. This way you don’t need to worry about bill payments and late payment charges. Every month your bill amount will be deducted from your bank account. To activate autopay service, visit your respective bank branch to set up standing instructions.
No matter in which bank account you hold you account, you can give standing instructions for auto-debit. It’s just like SIP payments. Your bank account balance will be debited according to your pending credit card bill payment.
4. ATM
HDFC Bank account holders can visit any HDFC Bank ATM to make HDFC credit card payment. At any ATM, swipe your card and choose payments options and then from the list of options choose ‘credit card bill payment’ and pay your bill.

How will I know payment is done?
Once you make online payment, you get a reference ID and your credit card issuer in this case HDFC Bank will send you a confirmation message that certain amount is credited to your card. After 2-3 working days, your payment will reflect in your account statement.
Can I pay minimum amount due?
Yes, I have discussed earlier by using any of the above mentioned methods you can pay your credit card’s minimum amount due or full payment. In case you pay minimum amount due, remaining amount will be converted into EMI and interest will be levied accordingly.
Can I pay any credit card bill online?
Yes, no matter what credit card issuer’s card you acquire, you can pay your bill online as well as offline.
Is it possible to make HDFC credit card payment through debit card?
Yes, you can pay your bill using your debit card; I’ve also discussed above. You can visit any nearest ATM to do so.
